Man Shot Multiple Times Near Hudson Garden Apartments

A 22-year-old City of Poughkeepsie man was shot multiple times in the area of the Hudson Garden Apartments.

The shooting took place around 10:44 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, in the area of 120 Hudson Ave Building 4, said City of Poughkeepsie Police Det. Lt. Matt Clark.

Responding officers found the resident shot multiple times. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is undergoing surgery, Clark said.

The shooter is described as being a black male wearing red sweat pants with a white stripe who fled in a black car.

This shooting was witnessed by several people.in the area, Clark added.
